Present Position:  Astronomer

Chief Research interests:  stellar evolution, globular clusters, magellanic clouds, CRoNaRio project, LSB galaxies.

Current activity:  I'm currently involved in studies on galactic and magellanic globular clusters from the observational point of view. I also manage locally the CRoNaRio project, i.e. the calibration of the whole
northern sky from the DPOSS survey, and some of its scientific applications: tidal tails of galactic globular clusters, hunting for low surface brightness galaxies (LSB).
